What you’ll do
The Senior Pension Analyst works in a collaborative environment and is responsible for a wide variety of professional, technical and analytical activities. They take the lead role in providing leadership and support in the financial, data and system management for the Plan. In addition, they have a significant role in assisting both the Pension Director and Manager, Pension Data and Processing, in the planning, implementation and delivery of strategies, goals, programs and services for the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Retirement Plan.

What you’ll bring

An undergraduate degree in the area of economics or business administration and a Pension Plan Administration Certificate or equivalent, combined with five years of related pension experience.

Highly effective customer service skills.

Demonstrated leadership skills.

Established interpersonal skills for working with plan members, employees at all organizational levels and with officials of other organizations.

Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Effective presentation and communication skills.

Demonstrated skill in arithmetic and mathematics.

Experience and/or training in an automated pension administration system or similar system.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply plan legislation, text, and policies.

Good knowledge of pension plan administration principles, techniques and practices is an asset.

Demonstrated high work standards.

Mature judgment.

High degree of initiative and motivation.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.
