Position Overview  Human Resources Coordinator – Seabee Gold Operation
Reporting to the Supervisor, Human Resources, the HR Coordinator supports HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, training & development, HR record keeping, and general administrative support. The role also provides backup for the Admin Travel team in scheduling travel and accommodations.

Key Responsibilities   Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, company policies, programs, and HR procedures.
Assist with the performance management program.
Maintain employee records and prepare HR activity reports and metrics.
Coordinate employee off‑boarding processes, including exit interviews and record updates.
Facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation.
Support recruitment functions, attending career fairs and talent acquisition events.
Organize training and development sessions, including new program development and tracking attendance, feedback, and compliance.
Support attendance programs, sick leave, disability management, WCB cases, and other leaves of absence.
Support site events, special projects as assigned or requested.
Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
Knowledge and Skills   Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Working knowledge of applicable legislation, labour relations principles, job evaluation methods, WCB, compensation & benefits, recruitment techniques, policy development and administration, HR planning, and organizational design strategies (asset).
Ability to exercise sound independent judgement within policy guidelines.
Ability to prepare clear, concise, and competent reports, correspondence, and other written materials.
Strong attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office; internet and web‑based applications; experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP) considered an asset.

Education and Experience   Post‑secondary degree or diploma, preferably in human resources or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of three years’ experience in HR, preferably in mining or industrial settings.
CHRP designation or working towards designation (asset).
Working Conditions   Primarily 8‑hour days, Monday‑Friday, at the Saskatoon office, with required on‑site coverage at the remote camp in northern Saskatchewan throughout the year.
Training on site during first couple of months; coverage schedules to be established in advance, including occasional week‑on, week‑off schedules (7‑day shift of 11‑hour days) and possible unscheduled overtime.

Travel required:

fly‑in, fly‑out of remote camp on designated days from Saskatoon; occasional travel for recruitment events or training sessions.
