Dyna Industrial is a proudly Saskatchewan-based company providing engineering, manufacturing, machining, fabrication, field services, and industrial solutions to customers across Western Canada. We are looking for an HR Specialist to support our Saskatoon operations and play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, training, engagement, and workforce development.

What You'll Do
Reporting To The HR Manager, The HR Specialist Will
Recruitment & Staffing
Lead recruitment activities for trades, apprentices, production, and support positions.
Post jobs, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring activities.
Build talent pipelines through networking, job fairs, schools, and community partners.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Employee Relations & Support
Act as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors.
Assist with performance management, coaching, investigations, and employee concerns.
Support attendance management and return-to-work processes.
Help foster a positive, respectful, and engaged workplace culture.
Training & Development
Coordinate employee training, certifications, and apprenticeship requirements.
Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
Assist with employee development initiatives and succession planning.
HR Administration
Maintain employee records and HR databases.
Support benefits administration and employee documentation.
Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce analytics.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Employee Engagement
Coordinate employee recognition programs, service awards, and engagement initiatives.
Participate in career fairs, school partnerships, and community outreach activities.
Support retention initiatives and employee feedback programs.
What We're Looking For
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset.
3+ years of progressive HR experience.
Experience in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or trades environments is preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
