Be a vital part of our organization as a Newcomer Recruitment and Settlement Coordinator at our Woodlands Head Office in Sussex East. This role is centered on supporting newcomers through their hiring and settlement journey.
In this full-time position, you will collaborate with the International Recruitment Manager to manage recruitment activities and facilitate a smooth arrival for newcomers. Your responsibilities include various recruitment tasks, securing accommodation, and engaging local multicultural groups to create a welcoming environment for new employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate recruitment and arrival schedules with management
• Manage candidate communications from recruitment to onboarding
• Organize transportation and lodging for new arrivals
• Schedule onboarding activities including orientation sessions
• Handle settlement tasks like SIN and Medicare applications
Requirements:
• Completed post-secondary education required
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Interest in recruitment or immigration services is helpful
• Cultural sensitivity and commitment to diversity
