The Dumont Technical Institute, a division of Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research, invites applications for the following position:

The Student Recruitment Advisor 2 serves as an initial point of contact for individuals exploring training opportunities s position will play a key role in promoting DTI’s programs, values and mission through community-based engagement, recruitment events, and presentations, with a particular emphasis on planning and facilitating engagement activities in Métis communities
Responsibilities: The Student Recruitment Advisor will provide community-based recruitment and outreach; engagement, relationship development, collaborate with high schools, community groups, Métis organizations, community gatherings; creation and the distribution of program advertisements and resources and the tracking of recruitment data.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study, or a minimum two (2) years post-secondary education with equivalent experience will also be considered. Previous experience in recruitment, admissions, community outreach, or relationship-based roles is required. Applicants will have strong public speaking and interpersonal communication skills; be highly organized with strong time management skills; have a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and a willingness to travel as required within the Region/Province;
thorough knowledge and understanding of Métis culture with previous experience working with Métis or Indigenous communities. Familiarity with Saskatchewan’s post-secondary or workforce training landscape and experience recruiting for post-secondary education is preferred.
Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Remuneration: GDI/DTI Career Advisor 2 wage grid plus benefits package
Term: October 2026 to September 2027 (Possibility of renewal)
