The Senior Consultant, Engagement & Facilitation leads the design and delivery of in-person, virtual, and hybrid engagement and facilitation programs that support impact assessment, regulatory processes, and relationship-building with Rights-holders and stakeholders. Working with clients, project teams, and communities, this role ensures engagement activities are well planned, thoughtfully delivered, and aligned with regulatory requirements and community expectations.

As a senior consultant, this role combines technical expertise, project leadership, and client relationship management. It is suited to individuals with experience leading complex assignments, mentoring team members, and contributing to business development, while applying a multi-lens approach that brings together Indigenous and Western ways of knowing.

Experience engaging with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples in an impact assessment context and working on regulated resource projects in a variety of sectors is required.

Senior Consultant Responsibilities (All Service Areas)

These responsibilities define the core expectations for all Senior Consultants at TWC, establishing accountabilities across project leadership, client engagement, team support, and technical delivery.

  • Lead delivery of complex project components that meet quality, timeline, and regulatory expectations.
  • Provide technical leadership to support consistent, high-quality application of TWC methodologies and multi-lens approaches.
  • Strengthen client relationships through responsive service, trusted advice, and delivery excellence.
  • Mentor consultants and analysts to build technical capability and support professional growth.
  • Identify opportunities within projects and contribute to proposals to support client retention and service growth.
  • Integrate diverse perspectives across disciplines to produce cohesive, well-informed project outcomes.
  • Maintain alignment with regulatory, client, quality, and health and safety requirements, addressing risks proactively.
Role-Specific Responsibilities (Engagement & Facilitation)

These responsibilities describe how the Senior Consultant applies their core role within engagement, focusing on leading engagement programs that are meaningful, compliant, and relationship-centred.

  • Design and implement in-person, virtual, and hybrid engagement programs to support federal, provincial, and territorial impact assessment and regulatory processes, including assessing potential effects on Indigenous interests.
