Join Penske as a Service Manager for diesel operations in Scarborough, ON. Enhance shop efficiency while managing technical staff and ensuring top-notch customer service standards.
This role requires you to manage the maintenance shop effectively, handle minor administrative tasks, and supervise a team of technicians. Your leadership will drive preventative maintenance efforts and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Technical knowledge of diesel components and effective communication are key aspects of the position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and oversee quality standards
• Address customer complaints to improve service
• Hire and mentor shop personnel effectively
• Work with management on sales strategies and promotions
• Prepare reports for operational and management review
Requirements:
• 3 years’ experience in diesel maintenance required
• Supervisory experience of at least 1 year needed
• Associate Degree or technical training is essential
• Relevant diesel and brake certifications required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
