Position: CEO Opportunity at Wanuskewin Heritage Park
Lead Wanuskewin Heritage Park as the Chief Executive Officer, driving cultural appreciation and operational excellence. This pivotal role requires Indigenous cultural understanding and strategic leadership in a community-focused environment.

As CEO, you will guide Wanuskewin's mission by developing and implementing the strategic plan with a strong emphasis on sustainable practices that honor indigenous relationships to land. Your leadership will span business growth, financial management, and community engagement, maintaining close collaboration with the Board and Elders Council.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and execution of organizational objectives

• Oversee fundraising activities and manage operational budgets

• Foster relationships with Indigenous communities and cultural organizations

• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws

• Manage a diverse team focused on high performance

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree and 10 years senior leadership experience

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices and community relations

• Proven track record in financial management and fundraising

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work culture
