Lead Roadways crews with the City of Saskatoon as a Supervisor VI, ensuring safe and efficient road maintenance operations during both summer and winter. Drive team success and uphold service quality standards.
This Supervisor VI role involves overseeing crews responsible for maintaining streets, sidewalks, and back lanes. Successful candidates will have five years’ experience in maintenance and three years’ supervisory experience, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. Your expertise in planning and guiding staff will ensure public safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train maintenance crews in their daily tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Maintain accurate records and report work progress daily
• Collaborate with internal teams for effective planning
• Address and document safety-related issues promptly
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Five years’ experience in road maintenance
• Three years’ supervisory experience
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Ability to obtain a first aid certificate
