In this integral position, you will support the Public Works Manager in all aspects of public works and utility department projects. Your leadership will guide staff direction, ensure effective maintenance activities, and provide crucial updates to the Council. This role also involves planning and executing projects, making it vital for successful community operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project planning and management

• Supervise and direct Public Works staff

• Report operational updates to the Council

• Provide operational recommendations to the Public Works Manager

• Oversee maintenance activities and utility projects

Requirements:

• Completed post-secondary education

• 6–9 years relevant experience in public works

• Proven experience leading teams

• Strong project management abilities

• Familiarity with utility projects and operations
