Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Commercial Services leads a team of Commercial Account Managers, structuring credit, managing operations, and driving profitable business growth through superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, leadership, coaching, and development to the team.
  • Manage a book of business in alignment with credit and operational risk policies.
  • Drive pipeline management and sales coaching to achieve unit growth.
  • Lead customer experience initiatives and resolve operational and credit issues.
  • Champion the use of the sales platform; build understanding of customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Respond to changes in the business environment with action plans.
  • Serve as primary escalation point for significant sales and risk matters.
  • Identify and refer business opportunities to internal banking partners.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Protect the organization by managing risks and escalating high‑risk activities.
  • Apply market knowledge and industry insights to inform strategy.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading commercial banking teams and managing credit.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Language proficiency:
    French plus another language for Quebec market.
