4-H Saskatchewan provides positive youth development programs and experiences for young people across the province. Being part of a 4-H club connects members to a network of friendship, leadership and support within about 155 clubs, coordinated by over 800 volunteer leaders.

4-H Saskatchewan is looking for a new Executive Director (ED), to be based in our Saskatoon office. Reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors, the ED is responsible for the following areas:

Operations management and administration

Financial and human resources management

Program and service delivery

Board administration and support

Public relations, member engagement, and communications

The Executive Director leads the provincial operations of 4-H Saskatchewan, in accordance with the mission, vision, and strategic plan. The ED is responsible for ensuring the 4-H program continues to be relevant, impactful, and expands in both rural and urban sectors of the province.

The ED is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are up to date, easy to understand and uphold, and accessible to the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and members.

The Board of Directors is seeking an accomplished and people-centered Executive Director who can inspire a high-performing team, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure the organization continues to make a positive impact in the lives of our members.

The Board is looking for a leader who is both strategic and operational: someone who can see the big picture while ensuring excellence in day-to-day execution. The successful candidate will have experience leading teams, managing budgets responsibly, and achieving organizational goals. They will be comfortable making decisions, collaboratively solving challenges, and working with diverse groups of volunteers.
