Assistant Store Manager In Training

As an Assistant Store Manager in Training, you'll complete a comprehensive training program that prepares you to support store operations, lead teams, and deliver an exceptional customer experience as part of a high-performing leadership team.

In this role, you'll learn how to

Understand and contribute to achieving key business metrics, including profit and loss, customer satisfaction, execution standards, audit compliance, labour management, and productivity.

Anticipate the needs of our customers and put them first in all that you do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of colleagues, building their skills in customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and operational excellence.

Create a positive and inclusive workplace by fostering colleague engagement, development, retention, and a culture of belonging.

Build long-term relationships with the community

Drive merchandising excellence and operational standards

Be accountable for financial objectives

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer service.

Partner with the store leadership team to drive people strategies that align with business objectives, company culture, and values.

Work in collaboration with the Store Manager and District Manager to execute business plans

Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

What you’ll need

Exceptional customer service skills and a talent for building customer loyalty and community relationships

Flexibility and the ability to learn via a variety of mediums

Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, engagement and retention

Experience managing overall store or department operations within the grocery industry

Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze data and trends to deliver outstanding business results

Commitment to delivering consistent results, everyday
