In this pivotal role, you will supervise HAZMAT projects, focusing on emergency responses and helping to train technicians. Lead your team with a positive attitude while coordinating equipment and personnel for effective incident management. Your contribution will help maintain GFL's high safety standards and establish strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage emergency response and safety documentation
• Perform chemical neutralization and resource organization
• Oversee operational readiness of emergency equipment
• Participate in training events and safety programs
• Track project hours and waste disposal metrics
Requirements:
• Class 5 driver’s license;
Class 1 or 3 preferred
• Experience in emergency response or HAZMAT
• Highly organized and motivated individual
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel and work out of town
