York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award. We are looking for a Web Design Assistant Volunteer to help us create and maintain impactful web experiences for our community.

• Designing and developing user‑friendly, responsive websites.
• Collaborating with clients and team members to meet project requirements.
• Maintaining and updating websites, including bug fixes and enhancements.
• Optimizing performance, ensuring fast load times and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Testing, debugging, and implementing basic security measures.
• Staying up to date with current web technologies and industry trends.

• Develop and enhance transferrable soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication.
• Gain experience and volunteer hours that can be added to your résumé.
• Receive free training.
• Access free networking opportunities.

• Minimum age: 12.
• Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software.
• Complete training prior to start date.
• Can commit to the shift schedule.
• Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English.
• Previous volunteer experience.
