Collective Closet Volunteer - Environmental Focus

Become part of the Collective Closet initiative at the Alma Mater Society in Kingston, Ontario, working towards sustainable fashion through clothing swaps. Volunteer regularly and assist with events promoting environmental sustainability.

As a Collective Closet Volunteer, you will engage for 1-4 hours each week, contributing to pop-up events and ongoing store operations. This role requires a passion for environmental sustainability and an eagerness to promote slow fashion practices. Engage in tasks from organizing clothing donations to maintaining store credits, ensuring a positive atmosphere in support of the AMS mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Volunteer 1-4 hours weekly in store

• Participate in monthly pop-up clothing events

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the closet

• Manage store credits for customers effectively

• Assist supervisors in operational tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Strong passion for sustainability and fashion

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Attend all training and meetings
