Grant Writer & Communications

Position: YWCA Grant Writer & Communications Role
Contribute to YWCA Saskatoon's mission as a Grant Writer and Communications Associate. This role involves strategic communication initiatives and grant lifecycle management to support impactful community work.

As a full-time position reporting to the Director of Development & Engagement, you will manage communications and grants. Responsibilities include crafting newsletters, coordinating grant cycle timelines, and advocating for women's empowerment programs. Your expertise will help elevate YWCA’s visibility in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for newsletters and reports

• Develop and submit competitive grant proposals

• Maintain grant application records and compliance

• Support community advocacy initiatives and events

• Build relationships with media and funding partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or English

• Minimum of 3 years in grant writing and communications

• Strong writing, editing, and research abilities

• Knowledge of grant management and compliance

• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills
