Saskatoon Regional Child Advocate

In your position as Regional Advocate, you'll report to the Executive Director - Advocacy and work both independently and with a team. Your key role is to ensure compliance among government entities and agencies serving children while assessing the services offered to young people. Your experience presenting public information will enhance advocacy efforts to educate stakeholders on children's rights and available resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with stakeholders on children’s rights issues
• Evaluate service compliance and effectiveness
• Deliver presentations to youth and community members
• Advocate internationally recognized rights principles
• Ensure advocacy aligns with established legislation
Requirements:
• Background in advocacy or child services
• Public speaking and presentation skills
• Familiarity with child advocacy legislation
• Strong independent and teamwork capabilities
• Commitment to children's welfare and rights
