Take on a pivotal role in Saskatoon advocating for children and youth rights. This position requires a diplomatic approach to ensure young individuals receive necessary services from various agencies.
As a Regional Advocate, you’ll function under the Executive Director - Advocacy, navigating both independent and team-based efforts. Your responsibility is to advocate for children while assessing policy compliance and service adequacy delivered by agencies. Your effective communication skills will be essential for delivering presentations and engaging with stakeholders and youth representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent the interests of children and youth
• Assess agency compliance with advocacy policies
• Facilitate informative presentations to stakeholders
• Evaluate service delivery effectiveness for youth
• Ensure advocacy meets legislative standards
Requirements:
• Experience in advocacy or related sectors
• Strong public facilitation and communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant child rights frameworks
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Passion for advocating children's rights and needs
