We’re looking for dependable Full-Time Line Cooks to join us in Port Alberni, BC. Opportunities are available for both day and evening shifts. If you enjoy the energy of a busy kitchen, take pride in the food you prepare, and want to work alongside a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality standards.
• Keep service running smoothly by preparing accurate, consistently presented dishes in a timely manner.
• Help bring daily menu items and specials to life.
• Support other kitchen stations with food preparation as needed.
• Plate dishes with care, ensuring each order looks appetizing and meets our standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
• Monitor ingredients and supplies and communicate restocking needs.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff to create an excellent experience for every guest.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chef or Management team.

• Food Safe certification.
• A positive attitude and a genuine interest in preparing great food.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to remain organized and focused during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work full-time day or evening/night shifts.
• The ability to safely lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
• The ability to safely use cleaning products and chemicals.
