The Restaurant Supervisor works closely with the Food & Beverageleadership team, culinary team, and other resort departments to ensure efficient operations, financial accountability, and memorable guestexperiences. This role primarily works AM and Mid-Shift rotations ,including weekends and statutory holidays, based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional guest service and lead byexample in creating memorable dining experiences.
Resolve guest concerns promptly, professionally,and effectively.
Maintain a visible presence in the dining roomand lounge during service periods.
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant and lounge.
Ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate dailypriorities, promotions, and service expectations.
Assist with inventory counts and inventory control while monitoring supplies.
Ensure all opening, operating, and closing procedures are completed accurately.
Respond to changing business levels by adjustingstaffing and workflow accordingly.
Supervise, coach, motivate, and support restaurant team members.
Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
Conduct ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and culturallywelcoming workplace.
Set work schedules and monitor staffing levelsthroughout each shift while approving breaks.
Ensure food and beverage presentation meetsestablished standards.
Monitor quality, consistency, cleanliness, andspeed of service.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team toresolve service issues.
Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum (2) years of supervisory experience in arestaurant or lounge environment.
Serve It Right Saskatchewan certificate.
Safe Food Handling certificate preferred.
WHMIS certificate preferred.
First Aide & CPR certification is considered an asset.
Previous experience using restaurantPoint-of-Sale systems.
Ability to lift, carry and move 11-29 lbs,frequently 30-49 lbs, occasionally 50-75 lbs.
Strong leadership and development skills.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Familiarity with using Microsoft Office.
