McClure Place Retirement Home is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Food Safety Attendant to join our team and help maintain a safe, clean, and high-quality dining environment for our residents.

• Monitor and record food temperatures according to food safety requirements.
• Check refrigerators, freezers, and food storage areas.
• Ensure food is properly labeled, dated, stored, and rotated.
• Monitor expiry dates and maintain proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Assist with daily food safety and sanitation checks.
• Ensure food preparation and dining areas are clean and properly sanitized.
• Maintain food safety logs and required documentation.
• Assist kitchen staff with following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Identify and report food safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and sanitary food storage areas.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation duties as required.

• Food Safety Certification is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and responsible.

This is a part-time position working 25 days per week from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The schedule may vary depending on operational needs.
