Food and Beverage Server Part Time

• Performing opening duties such as setting tables, polishing glasses, folding napkins, and replenishing condiments.
• Assisting management and hosts to meet, greet, and seat guests, and issuing them food and beverage menus.
• Know the menu well and be familiar with the food and drinks they serve and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
• Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Provide information on daily specials to patrons, encourage upsells (desserts, beverages, coffee/tea after a meal)
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Enter orders in the POS System
• Communicate with BOH team whenever needed to ensure a smooth service
• Checking on guests to establish satisfaction with product and overall experience and providing management with feedback.
• Collect payment by cash, debit, credit, gift card & enter it into POS System
• Clear & clean tables according to food safe & company training standards.
• Sort dishes & dispose of leftover food
• Maintain a clean work & payment station
• Receive, deliver & process payment for room service orders
• Receive & package take-out orders
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.
• Efficiently clean and set tables, ensuring the dining room is always service ready.
• Performing closing duties such as sweeping and vacuuming and preparing linens for collection by laundry service.
• Job environment requires the candidate to lift 50 lbs regularly and be knowledgeable of safe work practices, as well health, safety regulations
