SSR Mining Temporary Geotechnician

Join SSR Mining as a Temporary Geotechnician, where you will manage core sample operations and support geological activities in a remote setting. This role involves precise execution of core cutting and organization of samples.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Resource Development, your tasks will encompass cutting samples, bagging them, and maintaining meticulous records for laboratory submission. Collaboration with geologists ensures smooth operations during outside tasks and core data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut and bag core samples as directed

• Record data and maintain sample inventories

• Move core boxes and assist geologists in field tasks

• Organize and maintain a tidy work area

• Operate heavy equipment as necessary

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License is mandatory

• Experience with core cutting preferred

• Ability to lift heavy materials regularly

• Familiarity with safety regulations

• Great physical fitness for demanding tasks
