This temporary role involves conducting bird nest evaluations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing effective bird deterrent strategies. Your collaboration with project teams will be crucial to adapting strategies based on field conditions and monitoring data, enhancing conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute bird nest sweeps to identify sensitive habitats
• Develop and implement effective deterrent strategies
• Conduct training sessions on bird awareness for personnel
• Maintain accurate digital records and field reports
• Oversee habitat management and installation of deterrent systems
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of field experience in ornithology
• Robust understanding of avian behavior and habitat
• Degree in relevant scientific discipline required
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with field data collection platforms
