This role is pivotal for candidates with at least five years of vegetation ecology experience. You will lead wetland assessments, conduct biological inventories, and contribute to environmental assessments across various sectors. Work independently or supervise field teams, driving projects forward effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead wetland assessments and biological inventories

• Conduct natural area inventories and biophysical assessments

• Contribute to vegetation and wetland environmental assessments

• Assist with desktop mapping of wetlands and communities

• Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Science (biology, ecology, or related)

• Minimum five years' experience as a vegetation ecologist

• Professional designation (R.P.Bio., R.P.F., P.Ag.) is an asset

• Proficient in MS Office, ArcGIS, or similar

• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
