Geology Intern at SSR Mining in Saskatchewan

Kickstart your geology career with a hands-on internship at SSR Mining's Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan. This position combines field support and office tasks within a remote, physically demanding camp.

As a Geology Intern, you'll follow a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, supporting Resource Development Geologists in various essential tasks like core logging and drilling oversight. This role requires adaptability to both outdoor and underground environments while ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Your ability to communicate effectively will enhance team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in core logging, sampling, and geological mapping

• Monitor drilling operations for compliance with procedures

• Conduct data entry for Resource Development efforts

• Collaborate with Mining Operations teams as required

• Support underground teams with sampling and logging tasks

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Geology or Mine/Geological Engineering program

• Relevant experience in surface exploration preferred

• Familiarity with geological software is a plus

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong organizational skills and work ethic
