Step into a Senior Vegetation Ecologist position with Stantec in either Regina or Saskatoon, focusing on leading vegetation and wetland assessments in multiple sectors. Drive program development with your expertise in ecology.
This role requires a seasoned professional with at least ten years of experience managing vascular plant surveys and executing complex projects. You will be responsible for comprehensive ecological assessments while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, all while mentoring your team to uphold high quality standards in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee wetland and vegetation inventories
• Conduct ecological assessments for project proposals
• Train and support junior and intermediate staff members

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline
• Minimum 10 years of applicable experience
• Expertise in MS Office and ArcGIS software
• Strong networking and communication abilities
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
