Enhance patient care as a Clinical Engineer with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This full-time role focuses on managing medical equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
In this permanent position, you will be part of a dedicated clinical engineering team supporting the lifecycle management of medical devices. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance, safety testing, and repairs on low-risk equipment. You will also maintain compliance records and assist with stock control to manage parts and supplies efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support lifecycle management of medical equipment
• Perform maintenance and safety testing as per guidelines
• Maintain accurate records in the Asset Management System
• Log service requests and prioritize work effectively
• Assist with stock control and medical device library service
Requirements:
• Educated to SCQF Level 6 or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical equipment and engineering principles
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity for equipment handling
• Passion for engineering and patient care
