As the Senior Environmental Specialist, you will report to the Waste and Water Lead and play a pivotal role in advancing Nex Gen's environmental excellence commitments. Focus on developing climate adaptation plans, circular economy solutions, and managing environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will help foster collaboration within project teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental excellence initiatives

• Identify circular economy solutions for supply chain processes

• Coordinate sustainability initiatives within the Environmental Department

• Support the Waste Management Program for the Project

• Participate in community and regulatory meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field

• 5-10 years in the environmental sector, preferably in mining

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Familiarity with AI workflows is a plus
