Join FLINT as a Junior Environmental Professional, contributing to impactful environmental projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Focus on assessments, remediation, and engage in fieldwork activities.
In this role, you will support various environmental programs while applying your educational expertise. Your hands-on experience in environmental consulting will help you succeed in conducting assessments and collaborating with stakeholders. This position emphasizes a client-centered approach and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting environmental assessments and closures
• Perform field tasks, including soil and vegetation assessment
• Build strong relationships with landowners and regulators
• Cross-train to meet project demands over seasons
• Engage in significant fieldwork activities during projects
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or degree in environmental science
• 2 years minimum consulting experience in the environment
• Proficient driving skills with a Class 5 license
• Knowledge of site investigation regulations
• Strong English communication skills
