Expert Geologist for Exploration Initiatives

Cameco is hiring an Expert Projects Geologist to drive exploration projects in northern Saskatchewan. Utilize your geological skills to uncover the next uranium deposit through innovative exploration techniques.

In this role, you will lead the execution of exploration programs, focusing on both greenfield and brownfield sites. Your responsibilities include mentoring staff, analyzing geological data, and ensuring projects adhere to high standards of technical accuracy. Collaboration is key as you guide the team toward the successful discovery of economic mineral deposits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute exploration drill programs effectively

• Lead and plan comprehensive exploration projects

• Provide mentorship to junior geologists

• Develop geological interpretations from drilling data

• Prepare and submit detailed technical reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in geology or relevant field

• At least seven years of exploration experience

• Registration eligibility with APEGS

• Proficient in office and geological software

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
