Position: Laboratory Assistant Role at SRC
Support the Saskatchewan Research Council as a Lab Assistant based in Saskatoon. This 6-month position is essential for conducting laboratory analyses for mining and minerals clients.

The role focuses on various tasks, including sample preparation, lab upkeep, and compliance with safety protocols. While prior laboratory experience is an asset, training will be provided to ensure readiness for a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples for analysis from various matrices

• Maintain general cleanliness of laboratory dishware

• Create worklists and manage documentation through LIMS

• Adhere to SRC's health and safety standards

• Enter data accurately in the required formats

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to lift up to 30 kg and work in dusty settings

• Flexibility for extended hours, including weekends

• Strong reliability and readiness to engage in diverse tasks

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
