Junior Mine Geologist at SSR Mining

Ensure resource integrity as a Junior Mine Geologist at SSR Mining's Seabee Gold Operation. This role emphasizes geological oversight, mapping, and collaboration in a remote camp setting.

At SSR Mining, you will report to the Supervisor of Resource Development, contributing crucial geological input for grade control and stope design. This position requires a balance of independent work and teamwork, with a focus on conducting precise geological mapping and daily sampling activities for informed production decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide geological input for grade control and stope design

• Conduct geological mapping and interpretation of geotechnical data

• Participate in geological projects and integrate structural data

• Maintain communication with the Mining Department

• Assist in identifying ore/waste boundaries for mining decisions

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Geology;
Professional Geoscientist registration preferred

• Minimum of one year mining experience required

• Exposure to narrow vein mining is an asset

• Knowledge of Leapfrog or MX Deposit is beneficial
