Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, this position will be required to maintain, repair and overhaul a variety of Heavy Duty equipment.
What You'll Do:
Inspect equipment, interpret drawings, troubleshoot and repair equipment.Operates equipment for testing and test for performance using gauges and testing equipment.Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place.Participate in safety meetings and inspections, and following standard operating procedures.What You'll Bring:
Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket.Positive safety behaviour and a safety mindset.Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour intensive team environment as well as independently.Stable work record.Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors.Willingness to learn and gain required knowledge and experience through training.Ready to make an impact with us?
