Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Position and Responsibilities   Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment in all areas of the mine
High voltage switching, overhead power lines, transformation and distribution, and AC/DC variable speed electric motor drive controllers
This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 90 days.
Requirements of the position   Valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson electrician ticket
Five or more years of industrial experience as a journeyperson
Familiar with high voltage switch gear systems and solid-state equipment, including programmable logic controllers, and AC/DC variable speed electric motor drive controllers
Work underground
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
