Shermco Canada seeks a dedicated Industrial Electrician for its BHP Jansen Project in Saskatoon, SK. Seize the chance to work in diverse industrial sectors while ensuring safety and quality.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and construction of electrical components necessary for industrial operations. Candidates must hold a Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman Certificate and should be experienced in working with various voltages. This position offers 12-hour shifts on a rotational basis, with adequate training and abundant support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct, remediate, and test electrical systems
• Operate safely around energized power equipment
• Instruct and mentor new apprentices on safety practices
• Document all maintenance and quality efforts meticulously
• Participate in health, safety, and personnel policy compliance
Requirements:
• Must have Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman Certification
• Past experience in electrical maintenance
• Proficiency in English, verbal and written
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid license
• Willingness to travel for project demands
