This role at Ledcor requires an experienced Equipment Operator dedicated to safety and effective work practices. You will engage in operating heavy machinery, rock drilling, and various general labour tasks, all while ensuring adherence to safety policies. Expect to collaborate with your crew to achieve production targets and tackle challenging work conditions across diverse job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators, skid steers, and backhoes as needed

• Perform rock drilling and trenching in varied terrains

• Assist with pole setting and underground utility installation

• Conduct routine equipment inspections for safety

• Participate in daily safety meetings to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Experience with heavy equipment in construction settings

• Rock drilling expertise in rocky terrain is essential

• Valid Class 5 driver's license;
Class 1A or 3A preferred

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

• CSTS, First Aid, or Ground Disturbance certifications are assets
