In this position, you will play an important role in maintaining and optimizing the essential equipment that keeps our mining systems running smoothly. Your responsibilities will span from preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to hands‑on tasks like rebuilding pumps of various sizes, bearing replacements, and fabrication. You will collaborate with diverse teams across departments to ensure safety and efficiency.

• All aspects of millwright maintenance at the mine site and surrounding areas, including preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and participation in developing maintenance programs.
• Rebuilding pumps of various types and sizes.
• Removal of pumps, fans, and agitators for maintenance.
• Perform bearing replacements, belt/sheave changes, and adjustments.
• Oil changes on equipment.
• Occasional welding/fabrication.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
• Work overtime, call‑outs, and shift work as required.
• Move and operate mining equipment.

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic ticket.
• Journeyperson Machinist ticket considered an asset.
• Welding experience and/or a Journeyperson Welder is considered an asset.
• Heavy Duty Mechanic experience and/or a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic is an asset.
• Good understanding of pumps and mechanical equipment related to mine operation.
• Willingness to assist other trades in the completion of their duties.
• Ability to work outdoors, in all weather conditions.
• Priority given to residents of Saskatchewan's North.

• 14 day in / 14 day out rotating schedule.
• Typically an 11‑hour work day; some activity outside normal hours may be required.
• Position requires moderate physical ability.
