Location: north battleford
Oversee fiber installation as a Lead Technician. Demonstrate expertise in burying fiber and copper lines, emphasizing safety, and collaborating with various operational teams.
This role focuses on the hands-on installation process and requires a commitment to quality and safety. You will work with equipment operators and hydrovac teams while ensuring all project requirements are met. Key responsibilities include organizing materials and conducting safety inspections to ensure compliance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute installations of fiber and copper lines
• Collaborate with drillers and equipment operators
• Perform cable pulling and ensure splicing accuracy
• Maintain tools and oversee their proper care
• Uphold all safety regulations on-site
Requirements:
• Class 5 driver’s license with G endorsement required
• CSTS and Ground Disturbance Level II certifications
• Must hold a valid First Aid certification
• Proficient with Sitedocs for documentation
• Previous experience in telecom installations preferred
Lead essential installation efforts with a strong focus on team collaboration and safety.
