Dyna Industrial specializes in custom design, manufacturing and repair of heavy industrial equipment for the steel industry, oil and gas, mining, and pipe mill equipment. Visit  to learn more about us.

We are looking for experienced electricians to support the rebuild and repair of electric-powered mining machines, including drills, shovels, haul trucks, and other mobile units. This is majorly on-site work and minimal in shop work, ideal for those with a strong background in industrial or heavy equipment electrical systems and having mechanical aptitude as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rewire, repair, and test electrical systems on mining equipment during rebuilds.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out component replacements or repairs.
  • Install and connect motors, drives, relays, contactors, and control panels.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
  • Collaborate with mechanics, welders, and other trades as part of the rebuild process.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work meets code and OEM specifications.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
  • Rebuild, troubleshoot, and maintain mining equipment (miners), ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experienced Apprentice with 3+ years of electrical experience
  • Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal or equivalent not required but preferred).
  • Previous experience with mobile or fixed mining equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems and high-voltage electrical components.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working around large equipment.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel to job sites if needed.
  • Safety-focused mindset – relevant certifications (e.g., MSHA, WHMIS, fall arrest) are a plus
