Summary of PositionAs a Licensed Agricultural Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural equipment. Your expertise will help ensure our customers can operate efficiently throughout critical planting and harvesting seasons.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, and planting/harvesting equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime during peak farming periods
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Order required parts and manage repairs efficiently to reduce turnaround time
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, equipment condition, and future recommendations
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working collaboratively with the team
- Licensed Agricultural Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (required)
- Proven experience servicing and repairing agricultural equipment
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drive trains
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently under seasonal time pressures
- Strong communication and customer service skills with a farmer-first mindset
- Comfortable using diagnostic software and modern ag technology
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and high school diploma required
