• Build forms for concrete, including cutting, shaping, and joining.
• Look for and fix deficiencies in formwork.
• Construct hoarding and other temporary structures.
• Check accuracy of work and make adjustments as required.
• Study blueprints for work planning.
• Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete.
• erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Inform the immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and take appropriate measures.
• Act as a work leader and mentor for apprentice carpenters.
• Maintain general site upkeep.

• Preference for candidates with a Carpenter Journeyperson Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
• Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial carpentry trade.
• Experience with concrete formwork required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

• CSTS & WHMIS certifications.
• Skid steer and zoom boom certifications are an asset.
• Ability to describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues.
