The City of Saskatoon is seeking a skilled Journeyman Mechanic, offering a weekend-shift role. You'll engage in inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on various vehicles and equipment. This position requires a combination of technical understanding and hands-on experience to address mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work orders and perform repairs as required

• Conduct inspections and road tests to identify issues

• Adjust, repair, and replace vehicle parts using specialized tools

• Perform safety inspections to meet regulatory standards

• Maintain documentation for service and inspections

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Valid Journeyperson designation in Heavy Duty mechanics

• Five years of related experience with large equipment

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 3A Driver’s Licence

• WHMIS training certification, provided upon hire
