Mechanical Service Technician

Join Canada West Harvest Centre as a Mechanical Service Technician in Saskatoon, starting on July 20, 2026. You'll be pivotal in servicing and repairing advanced machinery, ensuring farmers across Saskatchewan receive top-notch support.

The position calls for a skilled technician with 2-5 years of experience in the agricultural sector. In this role, you will troubleshoot machinery both in the field and in the shop, while performing critical repairs on various systems. Expertise in Ag equipment is a plus, and you'll utilize service manuals for efficient repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair machinery systems to meet customer expectations

• Perform inspections and machinery set-ups

• Fill out service reports and warranty documents

• Train student interns and fill in for supervisors when necessary

• Commit to safety standards and company regulations

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience, preferably in agriculture

• Excellent spoken and written communication abilities

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history

• Capacity to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate large machinery
