As a Fiber Drop Sub-Foreman, you will lead a team of 2 to 3 members, ensuring high-quality work while complying with safety practices. Candidates should have experience in shallow utility installation and familiarity with fiber optics to excel in this position. Your responsibilities include operating machinery, managing work activities, and completing necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Operate small vibratory plow and directional drill
• Lead a team in planning and executing drop installations
• Maintain equipment and perform site clean-up
• Transport and secure equipment to job sites
Requirements:
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Minimum 1 year of construction experience
• Experience in fiber optics is an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage physically demanding tasks
