YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• Maintain, repair, test and install all electrical installation (Buildings, pumping stations etc.)
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
• Conduct preventive/corrective maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
• Any other duties required by the Supervisor

• Electrical journeyman license is required
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman or equivalent
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience on a remote mine site
• Possess strong Instrumentation skills is an asset
• Possess a Red Seal
• Being comfortable to work at height
• Creativity and an analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications as well as knowledgeable about computerized systems
• Possess an adequate physical condition
• Possess a good ethic work, a positive attitude and ability to work in Team
• Experience working in a multicultural environment
• Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (oral and written)
