PositionSummary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation controls and equipment in the plant, processing and production departments. Also, maintain control systems to suit control strategies required for process/electrical equipment to perform.

Salary: $49.12/hour + tool allowance
Hours of Work: 8 hours, Monday to Friday, Occasional Weekends and Overtime
Schedule:
Rotating 8-hour Schedule; four (4) weeks day shift, two (2) weeks night shift, two (2) weeks afternoon shift
Work Location:
944 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada

- Install, calibrate, and test electrical and instrumentation equipment to required standards
- Troubleshoot and repair controls, electrical components and systems in facility, utilities, and production departments
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and repair activities on all electrical and instrumentation related equipment
- Receive ongoing training on new equipment and maintenance practices (a requirement)
Additional tasks and duties may be assigned from time to time as necessitated by business needs.
Qualifications & Experience- Availability to work rotating shifts, days, afternoons, nights with some overtime required
- C of Q – Industrial or Construction Electrician (309A or 442)
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Problem solving & planning
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and value team effort
- Food manufacturing experience considered an asset
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend/twist, push/pull as needed to complete work tasks.
