Alta Equipment Group is hiring a full-time Forklift Field Service Technician. This key role requires strong mechanical skills to diagnose and repair lift trucks and other material handling equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, manage service calls independently, and deliver exceptional customer service with each job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts

• Diagnose and repair various material handling equipment

• Complete repair jobs efficiently and professionally

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times

• Manage company vehicle and maintain parts inventory

Requirements:

• Two years of forklift repair experience preferred

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required

• Strong knowledge of electric and propane units

• Must possess own tools for repairs

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
