SOUTHLAND Transportation is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Mechanic to join their team. This full-time position requires 2 to 5 years of related experience and includes maintenance, repair of buses, and supervision of apprentices. You will work in a rewarding environment with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing maintenance and repair on buses

• Respond quickly to breakdowns in the fleet

• Coordinate schedules and priorities with shop management

• Conduct semi-annual Government Inspections

• Supervise and assist in training apprentice mechanics

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Ticket in Heavy Duty Mechanics

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience

• Valid driver's license, Class 2 or 3 preferred

• Safety Inspection Certification through SGI beneficial

• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
